Created solely for charitable, educational, humanitarian and service purposes helping hands international inc. A nonprofit, nonpartisan corporation chartered in the state of the District of Columbia 's mission is to help the worldwide destitute and under served populations in their effort to achieve general social and economic betterment. The organization provides relief for the poor, the distressed and the underprivileged.
Helping Hands International's mission is to help address the varied circumstances causing social suffering in the national and international communities.
Helping Hands International serves the world community through a wide spectrum of programs that are conducted locally, nationally and internationally.
Helping Hands International is having a direct impact on the quality of life of local residents through processes whereby needs are assessed; funding decisions are made at the community level by knowledgeable directors and committees, resources are donated, and services are provided by experienced agents and volunteers.

Helping Hands International will continue to advocate its strategic policy based on three principles that would modify current programs. These principles are:
Launching various campaigns based upon stricter moral principles, shifting the responsibility from government to communities.
Redefining responsible behavior and creating new incentives and opportunities.
Providing periodical discussions of each principle at length and offering specific recommendations for progression.
To achieve these goals, Helping Hands International shall:
Enhance skills for recognizing high risks behavior in adolescent health and develop protocols for intervention.
Identify and utilize Federal and State programs that have a positive impact on adolescents and their families.
Compare and contrast effective intervention approaches that address the varied pertinent health, social, educational and developmental issues of our youth.
Design approaches for assessment, prevention and intervention with youths and families in high risks situations.
Utilize innovative age appropriate and culturally sensitive programs and strategies of intervention which address the diverse needs of the community.
