IN-KIND DONATIONS
Goods, In-Kind and Other Donations
Helping Hands International gladly accepts goods donations that are appropriately distributed to Helping Hands International's various programs and to youth participating in programs. Donations normally range from clothes and house-wares to furniture office supplies, and vehicles. Arrangements can be made for large donations to be picked up. To schedule a pick-up (generally available on Tuesdays and Thursdays), please call the administrative office at +1 – 202-986-HELP. The following items are always needed and are greatly appreciated:
- Furniture (couches, beds/mattresses, comfortable chairs, wooden coffee tables, lamps, rugs, wall hangings, etc.)
- Electronic items (radios, CD players, TV's, VCR's, video cameras, cameras, games, etc.)
- Clothing (for babies, children and adults)
- Baby needs (diapers, clothes, toys, play pens, strollers, car seats, etc.)
- School supplies (notebooks, pads, writing instruments, calculators, book bags, etc.)
- Household items (cookware, cups & plates, beauty products, toiletries, etc.)
- Games, books, toys, videos, etc. for youth & adults
- Office supplies & furniture
- New items/gifts for holiday gifts to youth and families
- Used Cars
