Duties include donor/prospect identification, cultivation and research; grant and report writing; solicitation of event sponsorship; and renewal/upgrade of current corporate and foundation donors. Applicants must be dynamic and possess a proven track record. Requires a Bachelor's degree in a compatible field; minimum 8 years non-profit funding experience. Must have excellent and demonstrated budgetary, writing, analytical, oral presentation and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office environment and development databases is essential. GRANTS OFFICER
Helping Hands International, INC. U.S.A. , an international humanitarian non-profit organization located in Washington , D.C. , is seeking an experienced Grants Officer to play a key role in grant management and implementation. Responsibilities include: ensuring compliance with donor rules and regulations; implementing internal controls and accounting policies; producing project financial statements and reports; managing cash flows; and managing disbursement activities.
Additional Qualifications:
Qualified candidates require: Masters Degree in a business-related field; min. 4 years progressive experience in grants management or the financial management support function in an international development organization. Knowledge of U.S. government grants rules and regulations and familiarity with food aid and commodity monetization programs are essential. Strong computer skills: facility with MS Word, Excel, and accounting software. Ability and willingness to occasionally travel to developing countries and domestic US locations.

DIRECTOR OF PEER EDUCATION
HIPS (Helping Individual Prostitutes Survive)

HHI a Grassroots non-profit organization, seeks FT Director to manage health-based peer education program targeting female, transgender, and male sex workers in Washington, D.C. Responsibilities include recruitment, training and management of peer educators, program evaluation, financial management, and monthly reporting. Knowledge of harm reduction, HIV prevention, and skills building with LGBT populations is required. The Director assists with other organizational activities as appropriate to carry out our mission of empowerment and health for individuals in the sex industry.
Additional Qualifications:

TECHNOLOGY AND WEB COORDINATOR
The Technology and Web Coordinator is responsible for all technical support required for computer workstation hardware, software, telephone and other office technology, network, printing, and Internet access. The individual selected for this position must possess good organizational skills, the ability to juggle multiple tasks and determine priorities, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Additional Qualifications:
REQUIRED:
• Education and experience, preferably in the computer science field.
• Strong technical knowledge of PCs, laptops, printers, and peripheral hardware.
• Familiarity with office applications, such as Microsoft Suite, WordPerfect, Qualcomm Eudora Pro, Adobe InDesign Crystal Reports, ResultsPlus, or Dreamweaver.
Experience in troubleshooting computer problems and providing software and hardware support to users.
Experience creating website designs and graphics.
Ability to provide and or procure training for users in startup and basic use of software programs.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and to juggle multiple tasks.
Commitment toward organizational goals of a racially and culturally diverse staff.
PREFERRED :
Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience, preferably in the computer science field.
Technology and web experience in the non-profit sector.
Experience with collaborative decision-making processes and structures.
Demonstrated/documented skill in computer technology and web design.
